Who says Oatmeal is only for breakfast? I grew up eating Quaker® oatmeal for breakfast. However, it’s fun to think outside of the box. I had so much fun making the Sweet Condensed Milk Oatmeal Cookies pictured above! And guess what? I made the cookies with Quaker® Oatmeal Squares!
Being latina, I am naturally obsessed with Sweet Condensed Milk! With that being said I immediately through some into my shopping cart while at Walmart in Secaucus,New Jersey. I love Walmart! They always have the best prices! There were so many Quaker® options but I ultimately ended up choosing the Quaker® Oatmeal Squares with a hint of cinnamon.
I thought the cinnamon flavor mixed with the Sweet Condensed Milk would be a great mix! Ok, let’s get started on those cookies!
Sweet Condensed Milk Oatmeal Cookies
Step 1: Put 2 cups of Quaker® Oatmeal Squares with a hint of cinnamon in a plastic bag and break up into smaller pieces!
(You can use food processor if you have one- but don’t grind it up too much! We need some texture!)
Step 2. PreHeat Oven to 350ºF
Step 3. In a large bowl mix the following:
1 stick Softened Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Flour
1/2 cup of Sweet Condensed Milk
Your broken up pieces of the Quaker® Oatmeal Squares with a hint of cinnamon
Step 3. Mix it all together and create small balls of dough (about 2 TBSP each) on ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 4.Bake at 350ºF until just lightly browned on the edges and middle still looks undercooked.About 10 minutes.
