I absolutely love Quaker Oats. My mom used to make Oatmeal for me often when I was a kid. Til this day I can’t quite make it how she used to. But that’s okay. There are so many different variations, that you can’t go wrong. My moms brand of choice, and mine has always been Quaker Oats!
I was excited to see Quaker Oats as one of the brands at the recent Mom’s Night Out event I attended hosted by Mom Trends. They had us answer the question : If I had an extra hour in the morning I would…..That was honestly hard to answer. So many things I would do with an extra hour! As much as I would love to have said sleep, working out is what I’d do with an extra hour.
A great way to have an extra hour in the morning, is by preparing the night before! I like to pick out what I’m going to wear and I like to make my lunch and breakfast in advanced. Breakfast especially, since it’s pretty much the most important meal of the day! One of my favorite easy breakfasts, that helps me acheive having an extra hour in the morning is overnight oats! Today I wanted to share one of my favorite overnight oats recipe!
Vanilla Coconut Overnight Oats

- 1/8 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla extract.
- 1 Tablespoon(s) Chia seeds
- 2 Tablespoon(s) unsweetened shredded coconut
- Pour Oats into container of choice.
- Add liquid.
- Add additional toppings.
- Chill overnight.
I really love how easy it is to make Quaker Oats Overnight Oats! I usually give each person in my family their own mason jar, so that they can customize it to their liking. Nothing like waking up and having breakfast ready!
Have you tried overnight oats? What’s your favorite variation? Let me know in the comments!
