When I think about my childhood, some of my favorite memories include helping out my mami in the kitchen! Getting up early Saturday morning to watch cartoons, while eating a bowl of cereal is another favorite! Speaking of cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios have always been a favorite of mine. My daughter Gabby loves Honey Nut Cheerios as well, so whenever I go to Walmart I make sure to buy a family sized box of our favorite Big G cereal! I love shopping at Walmart because of their everyday low price!
Gabby loves to help me out in the kitchen! I hope she has sweet memories to look back on in the future. We especially love baking and creating sweet treats! We usually make something to munch on as an afterschool snack, or sometimes a yummy dessert to have after dinner. Today I wanted to share with you all one of our favorites- ICE CREAM! But not just any ice cream- Honey Nut Cheerios Ice Cream
This ice cream is so simple to make! It has very few ingredients, and no ice cream machine is needed. As a busy mom, I love recipes that are quick, easy and most importantly- delicious! Though- making ice cream without an ice cream machine is not quick, you do have to wait a few hours for it to freeze- or let it set overnight. I do however, love that it’s something I can quickly put together the night before and have to enjoy the next day. Gabs and I love making ice cream! This is the perfect treat, especially with the warmer weather right around the corner. Let’s get started!
Honey Nut Cheerios Ice Cream
2 Cups (16oz) Heavy Whipping Cream 1 (14oz)Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk Honey Nut Cheerios Honey *Optional
- Mix the heavy whipping cream and Sweetened condensed milk* together.
- Mix until it is thick and creamy.
- Add Honey Nut Cheerios to the mix.
- Put in a container and freeze.
- Enjoy! *Suggestion- since the cereal is sweet, I didn’t add the whole can of the Sweetened Condensed milk. I only used about ¾’s of the can.*
Gabby and I always use this simple recipe and change up the mix-ins we add in. Honey Nut Cheerios added in- is so delicious! I like to drizzle a little bit of honey on top and it tastes amazing! Hands down one of my favorite ice cream creations that we have made!
I love how versatile cereal is!
