Back To School season has officially begun! This summer was fabulous but went by way too fast! Today I want to share a few tips to help make your Back To School routine go smoother!
For starters lets talk about meal solutions for kids, or better yet- fuel for school! For breakfast I love Jimmy Dean® breakfast sandwiches! They are delicious and satisfying! Plus, Breakfast is so important! Everyone should start their day with breakfast! For an after-school snack I love State Fair® Corn Dogs! I love their signature honey-sweetened cornbread batter. What I especially love about both products is that they are a good source of protein!
I purchased both products at my local Walmart in Secaucus, NJ. State Fair® Corn Dogs can be found in the freezer section at Walmart. The Jimmy Dean® breakfast sandwiches were with the frozen breakfast items. I love how quick and easy it is to have a delicious breakfast or after-school snack! Gabby especially love the State Fair® Corn Dogs. She likes to have a corn dog with a side of fruit to hold her down until dinner is ready later on in the evening.
I love that my daughter Gabby can have a delicious and easy breakfast like Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches. Since they are quick to heat up that allows me to have more time with my daughter while drinking my cafecito. Who doesn’t love more time with their familia?
I don’t know about you all, but holy cow! I can’t believe the amount of papers my daughter comes home with on a daily basis. It’s insane. I want to share another Back To School tip, try creating an After School Folder! This folder will help keep you and your child organized!
Here is what you will need:
In order for this to work, you will need a plastic folder. I chose white because it’s the easiest to work with. I know you’re wondering, why a folder, and not just a dry erase board? Well with a folder, you can keep all important school papers inside and keep track of them. Since the folder is plastic, you can use dry erase markers on it. I usually change the front list of tasks for Gabby depending on what she has going on that particular day.
I use a paperclip on the side, so Gabby can scroll down and keep tabs of the tasks she completes! The folder comes in so handy since it stays home! Sometimes Gabby may need money for a school trip and I can remind myself to go to the ATM just by looking in the folder, or sometimes Gabby writes me a reminder on the folder. I think staying organized makes such a difference for the whole Back To School season to kick off and go as smoothly as possible!
Oh- 1 more tip! Make sure you pick outfits the night before! At least the night before. Some people plan a week ahead, I’m just asking for the night before at the very least! It make a huge difference not having to pick an outfit in the morning! Plus that’s more family time in the morning!
