Today I also wanted to share a tutorial for DIY Lavender Bath Bombs. I love lavender! It definitely makes me feel relaxed and the aroma is just divine! As I mentioned earlier, there is nothing like a great nights sleep! These bath bombs + TYLENOL® PM (used as needed) are perfect for #BetterTomorrows! Be sure to pin the image below!
- Baking Soda
- Corn Starch
- Citric Acid
- Soap Coloring (or food coloring, I prefer soap coloring)
- Lavender essential oil
- measuring cups
- This recipe is for 1 full bath bomb.
- 4 oz of baking soda/corn starch mix. Mix well.
- Add lavender essential oil to your liking.
- Mix well.
- Add coloring.
- Mix well.
- Add water. Small amounts until it resembles damp sand.
- Add 1 oz of citric acid.
- Mix well.
- Place in molds.
- Pop out of mold and let dry for 24 hours!
I purchased a kit that included the cornstarch/baking soda mix and it also included the citric acid. Many craft stores sell them. That is also where I purchased the molds,soap dyes and essential oils.
These bath bombs are easy to make and fun to use! This DIY called for Lavender oil, but I’ve used other scents in the past. I just find Lavender to be the perfect scent to help me unwind after a long day!
