Yesterday Gabs and I headed to the Garden State Plaza to do a lil shopping. It was nice to go to the mall and have it NOT be so crowded. I hate how crazy the stores get during the holidays. Now that the holidays were over there were TONS of SALES going on! But I stuck to my list and only bought the few things I needed.
Gabby is currently obsessed with My Little Pony,so we headed to the Toys R’ Us Express and she found a cool 2 pony set that she bought with a giftcard she received. She then somehow suckered me into going to the Build A Bear Workshop…
We had such a great time at Build A Bear Workshop! I have to admit, it IS a bit on the pricey side if you go all out and get an outfit for the bear. But I figure it’s not something you do all the time. Also, there are smaller bears available that cost a little less. =)
Altogether I think Gabby’s bear came out to around $42. The bear alone was $20 and then there was the outfit and shoes. Gabby’s bear has freakin’ heels for crying out loud! LOL I have to admit, she is a pretty cute bear. Oh! And for an extra $3 we got her to smell like Cotton Candy! Although it was a bit pricey, the experience made it priceless. The staff was super friendly. Gabriella had a great time picking her bear, stuffing it with fluff and a special heart, grooming her teddy and finally dressing her up. I was surprised at the amount of outfits available for the bears!
Thank goodness they provided some free bows because I ALMOST paid $5 for a pack of bows! LOL What’s a bear without some bows to complete her outfit. And how rude of me, Gabby’s bear does have a name…
Say hello to Susie!
Isn’t she so cute? And she smells so good!
I hope you all had a fab weekend!
