Spring is right around the corner! I cannot wait! To get in the spirit of Spring, I decided to head to Walmart to pick up some supplies for Spring cleaning. I figured, if I’m picking up products to clean my home, I might as well pick up some products to clean my face! I decided to try out the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and its companion product, the Bioré Baking Soda Cleanser. I’ve never tried baking soda cleansers before, so these products really caught my attention. Baking Soda is a natural cleansing ingredient and exfoliator- perfect for my combination skin!
The products were really easy to find in the Face Care aisle at my local Walmart.
Using the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub.
I’ve been looking for a new facial exfoliator for a while. There were a few rough dry patches on my face that I wanted to get rid of. Also, my t-zone tends to get a bit oily- the pores on my nose were looking a little rough! Some exfoliators are too harsh, or some don’t work good enough. The Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub is amazing! Thanks to the baking soda it deep cleans and gently exfoliates. My face felt amazing, even after that 1st use!
I love the powder scrub action of the cleanser! You can control how much exfoliation you want based on how much powder to water mix you combine. The powder itself is concentrated and powered by water! I love to feel the baking soda fizz while using the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. Powder Scrub is new – first to mass technology.
I’ve also been enjoying the Bioré Baking Soda Cleanser. It is a new product as well. The dual-action baking soda formula, dissolves deep down dirt & oil while gently exfoliating. My face feels so clean after using it! I feel like my pores are looking better and better after each use! I mean, after all it says purified pores in just 2 days!
Overall, I am very impressed with both products. They are great for combination skin like mine! I love that these cleansers are perfectly pH balanced! The “fizz” is also a fun and unique feature of the products. The fizz makes it feel like the product is actually working and being penetrated.
Have oily skin? Have no fear! Give the Bioré Charcoal products a try!
Speaking of fizz…I have a fun DIY tutorial I wanted to share with you all today! DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs!
These DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs are easy to make. Best of all they are amazing to use for bath time! Nothing like a relaxing bath bomb! I love buying bath bombs, but they can get pricey! Get ready to make bath time more fun with these bath bombs!
1 cup Epsom Salt
1/2 cup Corn Starch
1/4 cup Cream of Tartar
2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil (any oil you like works!)
3 teaspoons of Water
Soap coloring *Optional (I like using these to add color instead of food dye.)
Essential Oil *Optional (Apply a few drops to your liking.)
Dried roses *Optional (Lavender and chamomile are nice to use as well!)
Mix all of the dry ingredients together one 1 bowl.
Mix all of the wet ingredients in another bowl.
Slowly mix liquid into the dry mix.
The mixture should feel like a wet sand that can be clumped up together. Not too sticky.
Apply mix into molds or use your hands to shape bath bombs!
Decorate with dried roses* optional
Wait at least 12 hours for the bath bombs to dry really well.
I love using these DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs! It definitely makes taking a bath more relaxing! Mine smell like vanilla & coconut. The mixture makes my skin soft and fragrant. So now my skin is on point, and my face is as well! Since I’ve been using the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and the Bioré Baking Soda Cleanser, I have smoother, clearer skin. My pores look so much better now!
